Ingram Product
  • Competitor Part # LLC2P120A | Series: Liquid Level Control

    Differences:

Ingram LLC2P120A is selectable between pump up or pump down applications with 120V AC control. For pump up applications, use the Macromatic LCP2C250. For pump down applications, use Macromatic LCP2D250. Ingram has a sensitivity range of 500 to 100K Ohms and the Macromatic LCP2D250 has a range of 1K – 250K Ohms. Ingram has a 4 amp SPDT output while Macromatic has a 10 amp SPDT output. Ingram has an adjustable response time of 0.5 – 10 sec while Macromatic has a 1 sec fixed pick-up and 1 sec fixed drop-out. Ingram LED single color and activates when relay energized while Macromatic LED is multi-colored: Green ON with input voltage applied, Red flashing during timing; Red ON when relay energized. Ingram has 100,000 Mechanical / 50,000 Electrical Life expectancy while Macromatic has 10,000,000 Mechanical / 100,000 Electrical. Both are 120V rated with 8 socket configuration and similar dimensions.

Description Of Function

Pump Down (Drain): When the liquid level rises & touches the high level probe, a 1 second time delay begins & the LED flashes Red. At the end of the delay, the output relay energizes & the LED is Red ON. The pump is ON to drain the tank. The relay remains energized until the liquid level falls below the low level probe. The output relay de-energizes, turning off the pump, and remains de-energized & the LED is Green ON until the liquid level rises & touches the high level probe.
